It is with mixed emotions that we, the members of the Gries Lenhardt Allen firm are, at John’s request, announcing his retirement from the firm. Although we will all miss having John around the office, he has earned the opportunity to devote more time to his family and other interests. In particular, John will continue to serve the non-profit community and volunteer for many organizations. He will also enjoy traveling and spending time with his wife, children, grandchild and friends.
John retired from the practice of law in March of 2020 after 46 years of providing quality work to individuals and businesses throughout the entire State of Minnesota. John was a graduate of St. Paul Seminary and William Mitchell College of Law and used his schooling and experiences from both of those places to become a skilled practitioner who intently listened to his clients and provided unique, creative and efficient solutions to each of them.
