It is with mixed emotions that we, the members of the Gries Lenhardt Allen law firm announce the official retirement of Greg Van Heest from the firm. Although we will all miss Greg’s presence in the office and his contributions to the firm, he has earned the opportunity to devote more time to his family and other interests. In particular, Greg will continue to volunteer his time for many organizations. He will also enjoy traveling and spending time with his wife, children, grandchild and friends.

Greg retires after over 40 years of practicing law in the State of Minnesota, of which nearly 35 years were with the Gries Lenhardt Allen firm. Greg was a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan (BA), the Boston University School of Law (JD) and William Mitchell College of Law (LLM Taxation) and used his schooling and experiences from all of these places to become a skilled Estate Planning practitioner who intently listened to his clients and provided unique, creative and efficient solutions to each of them.

Greg has asked us to express his sincere thanks to the many, many wonderful clients, advisors and referral sources he had the pleasure to work with during his career with Gries Lenhardt Allen, and to express his appreciation for the fine estate planners who remain at the firm who will take great care of his past clients.
